Osteopathic Professionalism
Registered Osteopaths
The clinicians at Wellwest Ltd are fully qualified and registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand (OCNZ). They can always be trusted to operate ethically and with the utmost integrity. Each practitioner holds a Master degree in Osteopathy and regularly advances their skills through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Osteopath Training
Our osteopathic training has both strong scientific, holistic and practical components such as Anatomy, Pathology, Biomechanics and Cranial techniques. This has given us a wide, in-depth, solid foundation of knowledge and experience to draw upon.
The course consists of two components. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology B.AppSci (3 years) and the Master of Osteopathy M.Ost (2 years); in which a large amount of time is dedicated to treating the general public, under the supervision of qualified Osteopaths. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Osteopath Registration
The clinicians at Wellwest Ltd are registered under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurances Act (2003) with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand (OCNZ). This protects the health and safety of the public and ensures that the healthcare you receive is of a consistently high standard. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Professional Advancement
Continual improvement is fundamental to offering patients the best care available. At Wellwest Ltd we take time to listen and act on the feedback from our patients about how to improve our care. We support the concept of 'life learning' by regularly participating in various Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses.
Therefore, we are continually learning and developing new skills, which means the quality of the treatment you receive is always improving. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
