Nicholas KarunaOriginally from England, Nick worked in London before deciding to change paths in pursuit of greater personal fulfilment and a desire to help others. After studying Osteopathy and working for several other practices he founded Wellwest Ltd. Nick is passionate about Osteopathy, and enjoys treating adults, pregnant women, children and babies. Happily married and a caring father he enjoys being part of the local community, he is an active patrol member of KareKare Surf Life Saving. He continually strives to grow through personal self development and maintains a healthy lifestyle; with good nutrition and outdoor activities, such as cycling and kite-boarding.

Kim Collard - Registered Osteopath

Kim CollardKim was inspired to pursue a career in osteopathy, after experiencing the benefits of osteopathic treatment in improving the health and well-being of both herself and her young daughter. During her studies she was the recipient of several prestigious academic awards and graduated with honours from the Master of Osteopathy program. She loves the beautiful beaches and native bush of the Waitakere Ranges, and enjoys tramping, swimming, and spending time with her family.

Using a variety of techniques, Kim adapts osteopathic treatment to suit individuals; ranging from babies, children and pregnant women, right through to executives and sports enthusiasts. Lyndal Sharples - Registered Osteopath

Lyndal SharplesLyndal's love of art and science drew her to Osteopathy at an early age. She has recently returned from Samoa, where she successfully ran the first Osteopathic clinic on the island. Testimonials credit Lyndal for having a warm and personable approach which enhances her practice.

She enjoys the challenge of successfully diagnosing and treating patients. Lyndal is a life-long learner, continually up skilling herself by keeping in touch with current osteopathic research. She lives a healthy lifestyle which is enriched by a variety of physical activity including yoga, snowboarding, and paddling.

She holds a Masters of Osteopathy, a Bachelor of Human Biology, and a Bachelor of Visual Arts.

Richard Clarke - Registered Osteopath

Richard ClarkeRichard was drawn to osteopathy because as a healing modality it combines both science and art.

After living in Melbourne and Denmark, Richard was inspired to come back to New Zealand and follow his passion to help others by becoming a health professional.

Richard originally studied and worked in the I.T. industry, while also following his interest in writing and performing music. He leads an active healthy lifestyle which includes surfing, rock climbing, cycling and yoga.

Family time is important to Richard, especially with recent arrival of his first child. Richard enjoys working with people in order to ensure they are fulfilling their full health potential.

Claire O'Brien - Registered Osteopath

Claire O'BrienClaire was drawn to a career in Osteopathy after seeing the amazing results friends and family had achieved with Osteopathic treatment. She has always had a keen interest in the human body, how it moves, and how to achieve optimal performance from it. After completing an undergraduate Degree in Applied Science (Human Biology) she moved to Sydney where she trained as a Pilates instructor with Pilates International. She then spent a year working as a circus instructor, teaching flying trapeze in Queensland and Indonesia.

Upon returning to New Zealand she completed the Masters of Osteopathy. She is especially interested in how specific exercises can help low back pain; this was also the topic of her Masters Research project and Thesis. Claire enjoys Pilates, snowboarding, yoga and gyrotonics
